The Tagawa® Grey Kitty® mascot tradition started in 1986 when they adopted a stray grey cat with a lot of personality! We have had a Grey Kitty® mascot ever since! All of our mascots have been strays or adopted through local shelters. As our way to give back to those groups and to help other animals find forever homes, we have offered non-profit animal rescue groups a chance to come to our greenhouse and share their information and adoptable pets with our guests! This event is called Grey Kitty® Birthday & Pet Rescue Event.
