Quilts for Foster Hounds

Here's a new and exciting opportunity to help fosters adjust to their forever homes -- FOSTER QUILTS! These quilts are just the right size to fit inside a crate, and will go with the foster hound to their forever home, to help make the transition a little easier. For only $20 per quilt, you get the chance to send a personal note along with the quilt to the foster family and the forever family.

Meet Diana

“Only do what your heart tells you.” - Princess Diana

I’m a beautiful black 9 year-old brood mama. Like Princess Diana, I’m both a Princess, and I wear my heart on my sleeve (if I wore sleeves).

All I really want to do is nuzzle and snuggle humans and fellow hounds.  I love to give kisses on your cheek.  Don’t worry, you’ll see me coming because I start licking the air before I land a kiss!

I tested cat safe, but I am not living with a cat in my foster home.  I do get very excited and a bit prey driven if I see small dogs while on a walk.  So I shouldn’t be in a home with any small dogs, and  other breeds make me nervous.  My ideal home would be with other greyhounds!  I’m good in my crate.  I roo a little when my foster family leaves for work.  I enjoy older children who love to pet me and are gentle with me.

I had a broken hock, but it has healed well and I can still go on walks.  I’m a little unstable on hardwood floors, so please put down the red carpet for me until I’m more comfortable.

So what does your heart tell you?   Hopefully it’s telling you that you need  this Princess in your life and in your home.

If you are interested in adopting Diana, please let your Adoption Counselor know.
