I am on the mend!
Surgery went well and I keep getting better and better. It is a gradual thing, and the progress is slow. I’m getting pretty good at using that leg on our walks and I still get all excited and hop around when I see my leash come out. But I get tired, and use the leg less toward the end of the walk. My foster mama assures me that it will improve and get stronger I just have to be patient.
I’m on some antibiotics to make sure there isn’t an infection, and I continue to charm everyone.
Thanks to everyone who donated money for my surgery. I am now getting follow up care and my wonderful foster mamas are doing physical therapy to help me heal. Soon I will be healed enough to run fast fast to my forever family. I've got lots of smooches to give when I finally meet them!
