A rousing HUZZAH to all the Renaissance Festival volunteers. It's a long season in the summer when each of you could have been doing other fun things. The precious weekend time you all gave is so very much appreciated.
This past weekend we collected about $800. That brings the total of donations for the run of the faire to more than $4,000.
Thanks to the core of hardcore Ren Festers who donned their garb and manned the booth for multiple weekends, sometimes both days of a single weekend.
Thanks to every volunteer who made the trek to Larkspur. Some were new to the Ren Fest – it's a brave thing to put on funny clothes and face the crowds! Hope to see you next year.
Thanks to the Rogues. People from this group provided much needed assistance and support every day of the faire.
Thanks to people who don't even own hounds but who gave their time to help at the booth.
Thanks to Sharon for offering loaner outfits.
And, of course, many roos and treats to the hounds who spent hours being adored and petted - undaunted by rain, heat, bagpipes, or tempting turkey legs held by children. It sounds easy, but being an ambassadog is hard work: Bling, Burner, Callista, Dazzle, Evie Petunia, Foxy, Gaelyn, Gracie, Harry, Jasper, Jewels, Khai, Kianna, Leah, Legolas, Lily , Lonesome, Love Doctor, Lucky, Marissa, Merlin, Mouse, Nash, Quin, Stormy, Summer, Talia, Tigger, Wally, and Zeb. I know I've missed at least one hound, too.
I hope everyone had a fun and satisfying time.
Once again, HUZZAH to all!
