Welcome to Hound-a-thon 2009! |
Over the coming days and weeks, we will feature stories of hounds that CGA was able to help, thanks to the generous donations of our members and fellow greyhound lovers. With the increase in our vet bills combined with the ailing economy, we find it harder and harder to be able to help those dogs with special medical problems (broken legs, extensive dentals, etc) and send them on their way to their forever homes. We have had several dogs in recent months whose vet bills have been between $2000 and $4000 each. How sad it would be to have to say no to those sweet greyhounds!
