Greyt T-Shirt Design Contest: The Results |
After validating all of the votes, here are the final standings. The winners are Bran Stimson and Christina Sievers. Thank you to everyone for submitting their designs. These were all really great and I hope that we can use more of them in future t-shirts. It was so hard to decide which one to vote for! If anyone doesn't want us to keep and use their design in the future, please let Jody know! If we use your design in a later t-shirt, you will of course, get a free t-shirt when they are printed.
1) "It's all fun and games... 'till somebody gets hurt." ... 141 votes 2) "My couch potato is faster than yours." ... 70 votes 3) "GREYHOUND" with white running greyhound ... 53 votes 4) "You can't have enough greyt friends." ... 46 votes

Colorado Greyhound Adoption has been chosen as the current group to benefit from sales at the following online stores: - Carpe Canem will be donating a portion of all store purchases to CGA. (Carpe Canem is also doing a benefit auction for CGA in November!)
- Handmade 4 Hounds, an Etsy Street Team group, is donating 100% of their August sales to CGA.
In other news, the eBay Auctions hosted by Greyhound Greetings helped raise $510.72! Thanks to Sue Bero from Greyhound Greetings and all of the high bidders for helping our cause! |

My name is Truffles and I am a 9 year old female greyhound. I am a very pretty white girl with fawn spots. I am good with kids and small dogs, but not cats. I mistake cats for rabbits, which I've been told is "Poor Etiquette."
I am just getting the hang of my retirement, and I am proving that you can definitely teach an old dog new tricks! My foster dad says that I am very mellow, and really enjoy going on walks.
Don't be fooled... They may call me a "senior" but as you can see by my picture, I certainly don't act my age!
I'd like a yard, but right now I don't have one in my foster condo and I do just fine. I howled a bit when I was left alone for a couple of hours in my crate, but now that I am allowed out I am a Very Good Girl. I have tidy housebreaking manners and promise not to chew your stuff. Although the delightful things I find in the trash are sometimes too much to resist! And I might steal a slipper or two.
Truffles are sweet, rare and thrive in cool shady spots. The only difference between them and me is that they are expensive, and I am priceless! Does your life need some Truffles? |
